Ferney Saavedra, professionally based in Bogotá, Colombia, is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy enquiries may be submitted through the website's contact form.
02 — Data requested
The form requests a name, email address, project type, message and confirmation that this policy has been accepted. The hidden anti-spam field is used solely to detect automated submissions.
The website stores only the ES/EN language preference in `localStorage`. Visitors do not need to provide personal data to explore the work.
03 — Purposes
- Receiving, organising and responding to professional enquiries.
- Assessing project, collaboration or licensing requests.
- Maintaining communications requested by the individual.
- Preventing abuse, spam and fraudulent form use.
- Meeting legal obligations and responding to data-rights requests.
Form data will not be used for automated advertising or added to commercial mailing lists without separate consent.
04 — Consent and required information
Processing is based on the prior, express and informed consent provided through the form checkbox, under applicable Colombian rules, including Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing provisions. Marked fields are required to manage an enquiry. Individuals may choose not to submit them.
05 — Processors and external services
Current status: the website is prepared to process the form on the server using PHP, PHPMailer and authenticated SMTP, but delivery will not be considered operational until credentials are configured and tested on the live hosting server.
Once enabled, Hostinger will host and execute the form; the domain account's SMTP server will transmit the visitor's name, email address, project type, message and consent record to the destination mailbox. The visitor's email address will be used only as the Reply-To address and never as the SMTP sender. These providers may process technical connection and delivery data under their own terms and policies. The website also loads external technical resources —including fonts, animation libraries and, only when initiated, the YouTube player— whose providers may receive connection data under their own policies.
Personal data will not be sold. It may only be disclosed where necessary to provide a requested service, comply with law, protect rights or with the data subject's consent.
06 — Retention
Once delivery is enabled, data will be retained only as long as needed to answer the enquiry, manage a professional relationship and meet legal obligations or potential claims. Specific periods will be documented when the final provider and workflow are selected.
07 — Individual rights
Individuals may know, update and correct their data; request proof of consent; be informed about its use; lodge a complaint with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce where appropriate; withdraw consent or request deletion where legally available; and access their data free of charge.
To exercise these rights, use the contact form and write “Privacy / personal data” in the project type or at the beginning of the message, together with your identity, specific request and information needed to locate the enquiry. Reasonable identity verification may be required.
08 — Security, children and changes
Reasonable minimisation, access-control and security measures will be applied in line with the delivery system ultimately selected. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The form is intended for professional contacts and does not seek to knowingly collect children's personal data. A submission identified as such without valid authorisation may be deleted.
This policy may be updated when the form, providers or legal duties change. The published version will state its update date.
