My audiovisual work explores fiction, documentary, the transformation of reality, the memory held by spaces, mystery, and the presences that disrupt everyday life. Each project is conceived as a visual universe in which cinematography, sound, mise-en-scène, and visual effects emerge from a unified authorial vision.

The story

After leaving the city in search of a quieter life, Elena moves with her daughter Lucía into an old family house. When the child discovers a stone in the nearby forest, something hidden awakens within the mountain. Whispers, apparitions, and a warning from the past force Elena to confront a presence determined to claim her daughter’s innocence.

An authorial vision

Whispers in the Forest was developed through a direct integration of writing, directing, cinematography, editing, color, sound, and visual effects. Its narrative relies less on explanation than on imagery, atmosphere, and the gradual transformation of the territory.

The original version was created without the use of artificial intelligence. Its visual effects were developed through motion tracking, compositing, element integration, and detailed post-production work.

The original version was created in 2025 for SmartFilms, in the Transversal–TransMilenio category. The short film is currently undergoing visual remastering and expansion.

Restoration and visual expansion

The new version will incorporate artificial intelligence tools as part of the restoration, reconstruction, and expansion of its visual universe, while preserving the film’s narrative direction and authorial conception.
